Audrey's Kitchen
St. Patrick's Episcopal Church provides as a ministry a weekly Soup Kitchen aptly named “Audrey’s Kitchen”. It was established in 1986 and and was started by church member Mrs. Audrey Stevens, now deceased. The Soup Kitchen provides a balanced, hot, homemade, complete dinner meal to those in need, primarily residing in the area surrounding the church. The Soup Kitchen is staffed by a chef and faithful volunteers from our parish and friends who shop for, prepare ingredients and serve the meals.
The Soup Kitchen was closed for approximately two years (2020 - 2022) because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It reopened on September 15, 2022. Since reopening, the Soup Kitchen is approaching serving 260 to 300 meals each Thursday.
The Soup Kitchen is financed by grants and donations from parishioners and friends of St. Patrick's. We invite you to donate. We will be grateful for whatever amount you can donate to help our Soup Kitchen serve those in need!
